Home of the week

This week’s home is a renovated penthouse in my city, Barcelona. I wish we were able to see pictures before the changes, but I imagine this was one of the classic layouts with a long hallway and separate spaces not maximizing the amount of natural light. The renovated home is stunning, nordic-elegant style, with two features that I love: the living-dining space and the terrace. Not being a big fan of open plan living ( smells, intimacy…you can read a good summary including pros and cons here),  I love the glass sliding doors that can isolate the kitchen, if needed, without losing natural light. And that brings me to the terrace and the beautiful fountain right in the middle. Yes, a fountain in a terrace in the city. Enjoy!
